April + Lai: Hot-n-Cold

It was exceptionally hypothermic the day of Lai and April's session and I don't know whose bravery I should applaud more, theirs or mine! :) Hey, we're Michiganders (or Michiganians or Michiganites - whatever floats your boat) so we know that Oct thru April we're fair game for frigid weather. But the wind...WOW. In the face of it all, we managed to not only survive but I think I managed to snag a few great shots in the process. April and Lai did ALOT of snuggling and we soon found a warm hiding place in a patch of dogtails that proved to be very beneficial. I had a great time with these two; they're just so genuine and kind and a ton of fun to hang with. April is a doll and I have to give her a boatload of credit. I knew she was freezing but she kept going and going and she was even able to smile...just long enough to get a few shots before her lips froze to the top of her teeth. :) Thank you both for a wonderful time. You're an exceptional couple and the love you have for one another is indisputable. I am looking forward to your wedding and can't wait for us to create even more unique images together.

I think they were just ecstatic knowing they were heading back to the car. ; P
