    I was in Indiana and Chicago for a period of about 36 hours, give or take, and I managed to snap a few fun shots that I wanted to share with those of you that actually read my blog in the winter months (I'm still working - I just look like I'm in hibernation). I don't often get the chance to travel though it's one of my favorite things to do so I was completely stoked to spend a total of 5 hours in the Windy City. Yep...five hours. Was it enough? H-E-*-L no! But it was fun and I am looking to plan a two to three day trip this summer to see more of what I missed (and I think I missed alot). I have a few awesome couples in the Chicago area so if you're reading this and want an engagement session while I am in town (on a weekday) give me a shout. : }

    Amanda and Dave were incredibly brave to stand in the cold (and snow) on their wedding day and I was right there with them every step of the way in my coat and scarf (though I secretly wished for my snowmobiling gear). I give credit to their bridal party as well for never complaining (or at least not doing so within earshot) - few would endure cold temps for their friends in full winter garb let alone in paper thin dresses and tuxedos!

    Andrea & Jim invited me into their new home for their engagement session. Andrea chose to have their photos taken here because it is so personal...after all, no one else will have pictures in their living room! I got to meet their precious kitties, view their extensive vinyl collection, and hang out with them in their new dojo (which is super nice by the way). We even trudged thru the snow out back for a bit - I wonder what the neighbors are saying??!!??
