Anne posted the following in the Weddingbee Pro Blog earlier this week, which explains in great detail what we photographers face in our post production and the timelines we honestly and sincerely attempt to hold ourselves to during this creative process.
Thank you, Ann, for taking the time to explain both the views of the client and of the photographer in a way that helps each gain a better understanding.

When weddings and sessions are blogged it's generally a preview or a sampling of images from the entire collection. Many times I fight the urge to post even more images (hey, I could blog all day but nothing would get done) once the wedding is completed as I find so many other great photos during the editing process that I want to share. This is one case where I just could not hold back, so here it is; a second, yet quick, blog post from Steven Blaskay's senior session. I am so drawn to this photo for several reasons and my son said it was way cool so that sealed the deal (he also wants me to take him to get his hair cut just like Steven's. Immediately. : )
I Made the Sunday Paper!! |
11.30.2008 |
It felt like Christmas morning as I unwrapped and dismantled the Sunday paper in a frenzy to get to the LIFE section. Detroit Free Press Staff Writer Erin Chan Ding's article, Winter Wonderful: 101 Ways to Make Your Wedding Sparkle, graced the front page along with photos and tips from yours truly. My excitement is at an embarrassing level (and I am totally okay with it). ; )
Don't have this Sunday's Freep? Check it out here (though it's much cooler in print form).
