A little drama a la 1930's Hollywood
Who doesn't love a spiral staircase? If you can find the bride and groom in this tiny web image, you win a prize - kidding!
I have to tell you about this photo because it touched me in ways I cannot truly explain. Meet Rob and Abbey's grandparents, the longest married couple in their respective families. Upon being announced Grandpa grabbed his wife and gave her the most passionate kiss. Seeing two people this much in love after more than 50 years together not only reinforces every couple's love for one another, it reminds us that true love really does last...
I am proud to be a Michigan based wedding and portrait photographer who strives to capture each unique relationship with a fun, energetic and creative approach. Whether you're planning a wedding here in Michigan or a destination wedding abroad I'll gladly follow love to the ends of the earth and back.
Erika and David exchanged vows, and a few laughs, at Academy of the Sacred Heart in Bloomfield Hills with a spectacular reception at Andiamo Italia, Warren. I can't say enough wonderful things about this couple or their family and bridal party who are a kind and exceptionally fun bunch. Erika, to no surprise, was a stunning bride. She's not only insanely accomplished and intelligent, she's a knockout and even with all these wonderful traits she really is as down to earth and humble as the girl next door. We shared the day with Kristyn of Castle Video and an amazing band whose card I neglected to grab, but I would definitely recommend them (they were fantastic) so I'll look for their info and post it asap.
Jen and Brian had an absolutely fabulous, romantic December wedding at St. John's Golf & Conference Center; a gorgeous venue made even more beautiful by hundreds of twinkling lights and elegantly decorated evergeen. Kevin and Kelly from Rent-A-DJ filled the atrium with beautiful music while Chris and Trish of Personal Touch Productions captured all the fun and festivities on video. I also had the pleasure of working with Stacey Shy of Venture Photography today and I can't wait to see the images she captured. Thank you, Jen and Brian, for sharing your day with us; we hope you have a fantastic holiday and a wonderful honeymoon!
I had a great session with Marni and Brett at Hart Plaza who, despite the brisk wind off the river and chill in the air, laughed and smiled. Brett is a true, chivalrous gentleman and Marni is a classic beauty who reminds me of a Hollywood movie starlet from 30's...just look at those eyes! I look forward to their Royal Park wedding this coming March! Oh, and I still covet her coat!
I am sad that I'm not able to photograph Ashley and Ryan's wedding this coming May in Ohio, but I do look forward to seeing their photos! Their photographer is so very lucky to have such a genuinely sweet couple who are as beautiful on the outside are they are on the inside. Good luck you two...I wish you both the absolute best!!!
Sarah and Paul are an incredibly romantic couple and their love for one another is captivating (if it wasn't all too apparent after viewing the above). They also had one of the CRAZIEST bridal parties I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Thanks for the laughs guys...and the workout!!!
There was never a dull moment the entire day with Joyce and Michael. Trying to garner a somewhat serious expression from Michael created even more laughs. Thier bridal party members were just as personable and enthusiastic and they made me feel more like a part of the group than a vendor. I hope to get a call from the bridesmaid that caught the bouquet...she had the most awesome shoes ever!!!
