Erin and Dan were married on a gorgeous, extremely wet, day in September. Some would let the rain get them down but not these two. They never complained and instead remained focused on the importance of the day - becoming man and wife. Each had written their own vows which turned out to be real tear-jerkers. This was an extra special wedding as my husband photographed it with me and when our eyes met during the ceremony it was easy to see that we were both moved by Erin and Dan's words and emotions. What an incredible couple...CONGRATULATIONS!!

Jennifer + Robert

So, what do you do when it starts to pour down rain during a shoot? Well, you pray a bit (wet electronics = bad stuff), you thank your lucky stars that you have an assistant to hold an umbrella over you this day, and, well, you run with it! Was it the easiest shoot? Definitely not, especially when it began to rain sideways (mother nature's sarcasm), but Jennifer and Robert were so laid back and game for anything. We couldn't help but laugh as we squinted when rain pelted us in the eyes, wiped water from our faces, and snapped umbrellas back into place after the wind blew them inside out. This was the last session of the day which was a very good thing. When I arrived home I had to wring my pants out in the tub. : ) Good times...
