The beautiful wax seal that adorned the cover of their wedding programs; just one of the many elegant and sophisticated touches Karen created for her dream wedding.
Locked in a gaze...
Yep, that's right! We went outside - to enjoy each and every one of those precious 13 degrees!
Meadow Brook's Grand Staircase (yes, I do have a thing for staircases).

Mary Beth is my first birdcage veil bride and since I have this insane obsession with all things vintage I've been looking forward to her wedding with great anticipation.
Mary Beth and her adorable flower girls caught in a touching, almost surreal, moment.
Alas, the happy couple...
Mary Beth has an amazing emotional bond with both of her parents, which is evident from this photo of her dance with her father. Even my throat tightens when I look at it as you sense his struggle to hold back the tears.
Bryan is as genuine as they come - just a down to earth, nice guy. I just love this shot of him and his mother as they begin their dance together.

This bride had an awesome pair of kicks!
What a great moment...they're so taken by one another and it's completely infectious!
Bill and Nicole (especially Nicole) were amazingly brave to stand in the cold (and the dark) for pictures. I worked as quickly as I could but I have to give this girl her props; she never complained...NOT ONCE!

These are the moments we live for! Mental note: put tissue in pocket not in camera bag (duh).
Can you pass up a shot in front of a Michigan icon such as Jiffy? I think not!
If you plan to stop traffic in downtown Ann Arbor, you'd better have a large bridal party!
LOVED the pattern in thier toasting flutes!
The vintage cake topper which adorned the top layer of Elesa's grandparent's wedding cake was now lovingly placed on their own. If that doesn't move you, I don't know what will.
Gourmet Brides Hit The Street! |

Tifany and I cooked up this idea to take two of her past brides downtown for an exclusive Gourmet Invitations photo shoot and I have to say it was quite the experience. The girls received several congratulations from passers by along with looks of confusion followed by looks of horror, particularly from a few ladies who were shocked that they would roam the muddy street in such expensive gowns. Some even took pictures! At the end of the shoot Stacie and Lauren either felt very famous or very violated! LOL! To see more of our escapades and Tifany's amazing work you'll have to stalk her web site and BLOG. Check soon and check often, you just never know what fabulous things she'll create next!!

1.08.2008 engagement |
Char'ly and Joe seem to have this amazing chemistry which even passers by commented on during their engagement session at Campus Martius. They're just so adorable together and their smiles and laughter are completely contagious. I am excited to meet their friends and family this September when they exchange vows in what I surmise will be quite the emotion filled day. I can't wait!
